Liatiko is the most widely planted red grape in Crete and something of a local secret. It produces reds not dissimilar in style to Nebbiolo, typically pale in colour and well structured,
with the ability to age. In the hands of Doulafakis, this is a particularly expressive wine with fine intensity of flavour and grip on the finish.
