Menu

‘Indigena’, Herdade do Rocim, Alentejano, Portugal

A deeply coloured and concentrated wine, full of dark berried fruits with a touch of eucalyptus, full bodied but balanced by a vibrant spiciness.

The winemakers are pioneers in ‘amphora wines’, following the ancient traditions of vinification in concrete pots known as ‘Tahla’. The grapes are picked manually and minimal intervention is used in the cellar, with no oak aging, to produce fresh, elegant wines.
